Marketing Strategy
I think I let my garden get overrun this year. I really didn’t want to plant, as we’re in the process of building a house (thanks, Dan). But, the days I spend weeding, picking potato bugs, tilling - they’re all really good for me.
I need the sunshine and dirt under my nails.
I weeded, watered, went on vacation. Most of the summer I had nice rows, plants growing where they were supposed to, and then we got busy...
So, Saturday I went out to harvest find the onions.
I found them beneath a swarm of Carolina horse nettle and free-range tomatoes. It took some sleuthing to find the correct area, but there they were. Nicely lined up and ready to pick.
The seeds we sow become that which we harvest.
Through efficient or poor weeding, those plants come through, some smaller, some bigger.
If I hadn’t gone into the garden, I wouldn’t have found two huge green peppers waiting for me. I put in the time - planted, weeded, watered, forgot.
Thinking about marketing, what have you planted that is now time to harvest?
