In the first business course I ever took, I learned two very important lessons from the results (or non results) of the people in the course with me, which you can relate to almost any area of life.
In this case, marketing your business: Getting Noticed.
At first I couldn’t believe people had paid for this course and weren’t completing it. I felt I had taken a huge risk by putting this payment on my credit card (in the very last hours before the doors were closing) to sign up.
This is what I learned:
Done is better than perfect.
If you have more than three priorities, you have no priorities.
Pick what is important, because you can’t do everything, and you certainly can’t do everything well. Focus on that one thing until completion, and only then move onto the next thing. This way you’ll get a lot more done.
